
Ssenoga Hassan as the founder of Ssenoga Initiative for Positive Living (SIPL) is a Ugandan male youth who was born and grew up from Nakaseke district. He is an orphan who never saw any of his parents since birth and due effect he grew in a struggling life where he couldn't provide himself with the basic needs.
When Mr Ssenoga Hassan made seventeen (17) years of age, with difficulties to accessibility of basic needs, he was seduced by a rich elder lady (sugar mummy) who promised to make his ends meet if at all he marries her. Being in the above mentioned situation, with incapability to access basic needs Mr Ssenoga Hassan accepted to go in with the lady's option less knowing that he was setting himself a pray to the HIV infection.
After Mr Ssenoga Hassan was infected and thrown away but the lady, he began facing and living the most hard life he had never lived before and hardening life more he was at the same time experiencing the sign and symptoms of opportunistic infections that made him very ill and bed ridden for a period of of a full year when he was one day announced dead by his relatives. In the year 2016, Mr Ssenoga Hassan Lucky enough met a kind man whom he refers to as his guidain angel by names Kayita Innocent programs director at Serving Lives Under Marginalization who opted to help and take care of Ssenoga Hassan's life until he was healthy again.
After Mr Ssenoga Hassan's life was well again, this was like a second chance from God to him and he decided to engage himself in helping other youths who face the same situation he had gone through and by doing so he went for a short training in counselling and was employed as a drug (ART) adherence counsellor at Serving Lives Under Marginalization (SLUM) and it from here where he got the exposure to the world when he met a journalist of one of Ugandan based television station called NTV with whom he descused his story and he became known country wide as Mr. AIDS up to data. Since the interview with NTV, he was invited with more stations and since then he have been meeting different kinds of people at different ages that need help and support and by the little he had he helped however the demard was too high which made him think about forming a family which he named Ssenoga family with intention of easying the ability of supporting each other in financial, social and basic needs. Later on, Mr Kayita Innocent advised him to turn the Ssenoga family into an organization that will be mandated to solicit for found and gain some donations that will support the members. Mr Ssenoga Hassan bought the idea and turned the Ssenoga family into Ssenoga Initiative for Positive Living (SIPL) and up to date the initiative is running and it is increasing it's goals, achievements and members each day that passes.
